A PICTURE perfect campsite has been named as one of the “most Instagrammable” in the UK.

Waspbourne Manor Farm, better known as Wowo, near Uckfield, has been tagged in more than 3,800 photos on the social media site, the fourth highest figure in Britain.

The rural site has visitors reaching for their phones with its stunning bell tents, rustic touches and woodland trails.

It also offers people a variety of activities such as bushcraft and archery.

The list of the most photographed campsites was compiled by Cool Camping, a website which recommends the best places to stay in the great outdoors.

The Argus:

Lavishing praise on the fourth placed finisher, Waspbourne Manor Farm, a spokesman said: “Fondly referred to as Wowo, this rural campsite is the ideal location for a complete digital detox and remote getaway.

“The site packs in a host of wellbeing activities to choose from and enjoys traditional camping touches such as open fires and old rope swings.

“It is made up of five spacious farms plus an extra secret spot hosting the premium woodland cabins for those looking for that extra bit of privacy.

“In the centre of the site is a makeshift village with a hot tub, live music, circus skills, chai lattes and free soup – a true bohemian escape.”
