Wycombe Wanderers have signed Ireland international winger Daryl Horgan from Scottish-side Hibernian on a two-year deal.

The 28-year-old joins the Chairboys after spending the last two seasons with Hibs, where he played 81 games, scoring 10 goals.

He played five games for the club this season before his move to England.

Horgan joins Uche Ikpeazu, Giles Phillips, Jason McCarthy and Curtis Anderson as the club's summer signings so far, with one more player expected to sign today.

Following his arrival, manager Gareth Ainsworth said: "Daryl is someone we’ve kept an eye on ever since he put in that outstanding performance against us and we believe he’s ideally suited to the way we play.

"He’s quick, he’s direct, he loves to run at the defence and he’s got a strong goal threat in terms of scoring and creating chances for his team-mates.

“I’m excited to see what he can do for us and his arrival gives us extra firepower going forward as we look forward to starting on the front foot in the Championship in 10 days’ time.”

Having started his career in his native Ireland, his big break came for Dundalk between 2014 and 2017, playing over 100 times.
