Engineering works set for this weekend (August 8 and 9) are set to cause travel disruption across southeast London, with multiple rail lines affected.

Work is set to take place between Lewisham and Orpington on Saturday, closing all lines.

Engineering work is also set to take place at London Cannon Street, and between New Cross and Woolwich, closing all lines.

Here is what you need to know:

On Saturday, August 8, train services between Grove Park and Bromley North will not run.

Passengers can use London bus routes 126 / 261 and 314 between Bromley North and Grove Park at no extra cost. Services between London Charing Cross and Hayes will additionally call at Lewisham.

Services between London Charing Cross and Hastings will be retimed, and will be diverted between London Bridge and Orpington. London Charing Cross to Tunbridge Wells stopping services will not run.

Services between London Victoria and Orpington (via Bromley South) will be amended to run between London Victoria and Sevenoaks.

Valid tickets can be used on London Underground services between Victoria, Embankment (for Charing Cross), Charing Cross, Waterloo, Southwark and London Bridge at no extra cost.

On Sunday, August 9, train services between London Cannon Street, and also between New Cross and Woolwich, will not run.

Train services between London Bridge and Dartford will also be cancelled- you can use Southeastern replacement bus services instead.

Buses will replace trains between Lewisham and Dartford, running via New Cross and Woolwich /Greenwich.

Additional train services will run on the Bexleyheath line between London Charing Cross and Dartford.

Services between London Charing Cross and Gravesend via Sidcup will run via Lewisham instead.

Valid tickets can be used on London Underground services between Charing Cross, Embankment, Southwark, London Bridge and Cannon Street, and on Docklands Light Railway services between Greenwich and Lewisham.
