Road police from Surrey and Hampshire used a stinger to successfully stop a car that attempting to evade them after a high speed pursuit near Chertsey on Sunday (June 21).
The chase took place between 1.07am and 1.28am on Sunday morning, after Surrey Road Policing Unit (RPU) attempted to stop a car whose drive they wished to speak with.
In a video posted to Twitter, a police dash cam showed the dramatic moments when the BMW being chased was driven off the road after its driver lost control when they hit a police stinger deployed by neighbouring Hampshire Police.
Surrey RPU said they had arrested two men over a number of offences including the theft of the car and drug driving.
In the weee hours of this morning, this BMW failed to stop for us on the M3 in Chertsey.
