BIRCHWOOD High School has transformed during lockdown with a stylish re-brand.
While the Brock Road school has been closed to pupils since the end of March, a team of staff and contractors has been working hard to create a modern and engaging learning environment.
Outside, there is a new frontage, created with clever window wraps, and a blue and silver/grey theme continues throughout the building.
Emma Mills, head teacher at Birchwood Community High School, said: "We are very excited about our ongoing improvements to our school environment.
"We feel that our students deserve a school that is interesting, attractive and that they can be proud of.
"We know that they will love all the improvements when they return and we can’t wait for them to enjoy all the incredible artwork."
Along with the re-brand, huge pieces of learning wall art have been installed, as well as timelines of famous authors and displays on famous mathematicians.
