The CEO of the Port of London Authority (PLA) will be hosting a public meeting to discuss the latest updates surrounding the Harbour Revision Order on February 25.

It will be held at the London Rowing Club on Putney Embankment from 6:30pm.

Guests will be greeted by Robin Mortimer, who will give a presentation followed by a 'question and answer' session on the current legislative powers that the PLA have.

Mr Mortimer said: “With so much happening on the river in 2020, its important for us to keep local people updated.

“It’s always useful to get their perspective on our works and the projects we are involved with, such as the Thames Tideway Tunnel and the development of Fulham Football Club’s new stadium.

“We genuinely want to hear what issues are on people minds and how we can help, so I hope there will be a good turn-out.”

It will also give residents the opportunity to find out exactly how the PLA will spend £500,000 to upgrade Richmond Lock and Weir as well as an opportunity to raise matters on issues affecting the upper tidal Thames between Teddington Lock and Kew Pier.

Residents who want to attend the event or ask any questions should email: theo.albanis@pla.co.uk.

There will be refreshments available from 6pm.

And, the PLA have also said that there the will be similar public meetings for the middle and lower reaches of the tidal River Thames later on in the year.
