Huge delays between Victoria station and Bromley South are expected to impact commuters all night
A fault with the signalling system at Shortlands is causing disruption to journeys between the two stations. As a result trains may be cancelled, delayed or revised.
National Rail said this disruption is expected until the end of service
Disruption is expected until the end of service.
"Because of a problem with a set of points (a piece of equipment that allows trains to change from line to another) at Shortlands, trains between London Victoria and Bromley South are disrupted," National Rail said.
"We have advised that the problem requires overnight repairs and thus the issue will remain until the end of service today."
Services from Victoria that terminate at Bromley South will be terminated and started back from Kent House. Other services between London and Bromley South may be delayed.
