Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was attacked from behind and had his passport stolen by three robbers in Dartford town centre.

The victim, a man in his 20s, was walking on Spital Street when he was reportedly grabbed from behind by a small gang of men and then punched.

The three robbers took his passport from him and then ran off in the direction of the High Street. The incident took place around 9pm on Saturday, January 11 2020.

Kent Police officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident, or were travelling in the area around that time and have dashcam footage to get in touch with police on 01474 366149 quoting reference 46/6688/20.

The three suspects are described as being white, with one man 5ft 9ins tall with dark hair and wearing dark clothes, one with light-coloured short hair and around 5ft 11ins tall and the third wearing a black tracksuit.
