Police have closed its investigation following allegations of rape in Wandle Park last month.
Officers launched the investigating after a woman the alleged attack at 5.15am on October 16.
A 40-year-old man was subsequently arrested on suspicion of rape and police later revealed that both parties were known to each other.
The man was taken to a south-west London police station where he was bailed to a date in mid-November.
A Met spokesman said they have now said the man has been released with no further action.
The spokesman added that the case is now closed.
