Police have released a picture of two people they wish to speak with after Waitrose staff were threatened with a "big knife" during a theft.
On September 23, a man and a woman went into the store in Station Avenue, Caterham at about 2.30pm and stole three bottles of spirits.
Shortly afterwards they returned and attempted to steal a further two bottles.
A female member of staff challenged the suspects and was threatened by the man, who then pushed her out of the way and made off.
Two other members of staff chased the suspects out of the store, before being threatened with a large knife by the female suspect. The male suspect also indicated he had a knife.
The man is described as white, early 20s, 5ft 6 tall, of medium build and was wearing a dark tee-shirt, a blue hooded top, red trousers and a black baseball cap.
The woman suspect is described as white, early 20s, 5ft 6 tall, and of proportionate build. She was carrying a blue and white striped bag over her shoulder and a large cardboard box.
Surrey Police wish to speak with the people in the picture as they believe they may have information which can assist them in the case.
