A ROCK band are preparing for their new EP and want to get to know their community.

Adam Gibbons joined the Burnley based Bridle City Lights in 2017 and moved from Langho to Barrow in August 2019.

The lead guitarist is originally from Macclesfield and wanted to be closer to the band and his girlfriend from Langho, who he now lives with in Barrow.

Ross McDuff, 25, from Burnley is the Lead Vocalist and the guitarist, Adam Rhodes, also 25, plays the bass guitar and provides backing vocals, and Adam Good, 21, plays the drums.

Now that the band are finally all in the same place, they have started work on their EP while also performing a 75-song repertoire at gigs, never playing the same set twice.

The boys want to establish a fanbase and get to know people in both Burnley and Barrow.

Mr Gibbons said: “We began making a positive impact from late 2017 into 2018.

“2018 and 2019 have been very successful years for us and we hope the future holds the same.

“Our sound is a blend of rock and roll meeting pop sensibility and our Influences come from a huge range of artists making for one extremely varied band.”

So far, the band have played across Lancashire and Macclesfield respectively, with a few gigs in Manchester.

Thanks to the positive reactions they get, majority of venues agree to let them return every three or four months.

Some of their frequently played venues in East Lancashire include, Remedy Gin Bar in Burnley and the Hare & Hounds, Clayton-Le-Moors.

M Gibbons said: “Highlight gigs for us so far include Manchester’s Hard Rock Cafe celebration last year, Darwen Live since 2017, Blackburn Bonfire 2018, Burnley Live 2019, Padiham Community Festival 2019 and Burnley Bands in the Park 2018 and 2019, both of which were sold out events.

“We are hoping that the future will be more prosperous on an already successful 2019.

“We hope to have recorded our original material recorded and released in the near future and who knows we might be lucky enough to make a career out of it.”
