A teenager has been taken to hospital after having had a corrosive substance thrown at him.
Police were called at approximately 4.30pm Monday to reports of a fight on the High Street.
“Officers attended and a 16-year-old boy was found to have had a corrosive substance thrown at him," a Met spokesman said.
“He was taken by the London Ambulance Service to a south London hospital for treatment. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
“There have been no arrests and enquiries continue."
Anyone with information is asked to call police via 101 quoting reference Cad 5267/7Oct.
A section 60 order has been implemented.
