A teenager has been taken to hospital this afternoon after being stabbed.
Police closed off Wilson Avenue in Mitcham some time around 2pm today.
Around 5.45pm Police issued a statement to the Times describing the incident.
"We were called today at 2.10pm to Wilson Avenue, Mitcham, to reports of a stabbing.
"Our officers and the London Ambulance Service NHS Trust attended and a 17-year-old male was taken to hospital.
"His injuries are neither life-threatening nor life-changing.
"There have been no arrests and our enquiries continue.
"A crime scene remains in place."
