Police have appealed for information after a convenience store was robbed by men wielding and axe and hammer.
Taking to Twitter to share the news, Southfields Police said that on Monday at about 10.30am Mcclusky's in Revelstoke Road fell target to the attack.
"The store was robbed by two men wearing motorbike helmets armed with a hammer and axe," police said.
"Smashing their way in and out making off with cash.
"Fortunately no one was injured."
Officers have asked that anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 and quote reference Cad 2532 9thSEP19.
