Callum Harriott has signed for Colchester United on a two-year deal.
The 25-year-old Charlton Academy product was training with the Addicks earlier this summer before the club decided against offering the free-agent a contract.
Harriott is no stranger to the U’s after spending six-months at Colchester during the 2015/16 season before his move to Reading.

Harriott has been a free agent since the expiry of his Reading contract in the summer.
The attacker made 30 appearances for the Royals over a three-year period.
“I had good times here and just want to repeat it really,” Harriott told BBC about his return to Colchester.
“I was here when I was 20, 21, and I feel like I’ve improved in a lot of different ways.”
The attacker made his debut for the Addicks in 2010 before going on to make 95 appearances for The Valley outfit, scoring 12 times.
