A person has died this afternoon at Claphan North Station.
Shortly before 5pm today officers from British Transport Police were called to the station Clapham North London Underground station following a report of a casualty on the tracks.
"Paramedics from the London Ambulance Service and the London Air Ambulance attended, however a person was sadly pronounced dead at the scene," A BTP spokesman said.
"Officers are now working to identify the person and inform their family. This incident is not currently being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner."
As a result no trains are running between Morden and Kennington.
