A football club is in mourning after one of its players collapsed at training and died earlier this week.
Westside FC took to its Twitter account on Thursday to confirm the sad news.
"Westside FC is saddened to announce that one of our players collapsed and died at training last night (July 17)," it read.
"Despite efforts by those there and the paramedics, sadly he could not be revived. Our condolences go to his family and friends."
The post has garnered hundreds of replies from well-wishers, including many other football clubs.
"So sad. Condolences from all the players, management and fans of Sandhurst Town F.C." the Berkshire club said.
