A person has been hit by a train between Bromley South and St Mary Cray, closing lines between the two stations.

Services have been cancelled to allow emergency services to attend to the incident and care for the people involved.

Response staff have now been able to reopen two out of four lines running through the area. The disruption is expected to last until 7pm.

Trains are subject to delays of up to 30 minutes, with some services running to a revised schedule or cancellation.

Services are currently unable to run between London Victoria / London Blackfriars and Orpington via Bromley South.

Southeastern customers may use their ticket at no extra cost on:

  • London Buses between Brixton, Bromley South and Orpington,
  • London Trams from Beckenham Junction via any suitable route
  • Southern & Thameslink services
  • London Underground between London stations

Thameslink customers may use their ticket on Southeastern services and London Buses in the Bromley / Sevenoaks / Orpington area on the following routes:

  • 162 between Beckenham Junction - Bromley South - Bickley
  • 336 between Catford / Catford Bridge - Bellingham - Bromley South
  • R7 between Petts Wood & Orpington
  • 177 between Peckham - Plumstead via Greenwich
