The area covered by the Section 60
Police in Greenwich have been issued extra stop and search powers and granted the ability to move people on.
Announcing on Twitter this afternoon the first post read: "A S.60 authority has been granted between 3pm today and 2am tomorrow.
"The authority covers the following wards in Greenwich; Abbey Wood, Glyndon, Plumstead, Thamesmead Moorings, Woolwich Riverside and Woolwich Common."
An hour later they added to this
"A dispersal authority has been granted under s.34 Anti-social Behaviour Crime and Policing Act 2014," the tweet read.
"The authority is in place between 3pm today, until 2am hours tomorrow."
