There is excitement in the air as a "hugely popular" beer festival makes its way to Wandsworth's Ram Quarter.

Hosted by Sambrook at Ram Quarter, the one-day Craft Beer by the River festival will take place on Saturday, July 13, with live music, family-friendly entertainment and, of course, a lot of beer.

Having recently opened following a redevelopment by Greenland, organisers are expecting to see more than 1000 people in attendance.

"After several years of construction work, we are excited to see Ram Quarter opened to the public," Chris Daly, senior commercial manager at Greenland said.

"For centuries, Wandsworth has been renowned for its beer and breweries, but Ram was always hidden from the local community behind the brewery walls.

"This festival is a fantastic example of how the redevelopment is welcoming people back to explore and enjoy the site.”

The event will include things such as two fully-stocked bars, philli-food concept stall Liberty Cheese Steak and even am outdoor screening of the Wimbledon women's singles tennis final.
