Several laptops, purses and sunglasses are among a large number of times which have been seized by police from an address in Mitcham.

Officers believe the items they recovered from the property may have been stolen from motor vehicles in a string of incidents.

Sutton police said: “We will accept a receipt, serial number or if you believe you can provide another form of acceptable proof that they are your belongings contact Wandle Valley Safer Neighbourhoods Team.”
