A person has died after being hit by a train this morning at Bromley South railway station.

British Transport Police were called at 5.26am to reports of a casualty at Bromley South.

A spokesman added: "Paramedics attended and sadly a person has since been pronounced dead.

"Officers are currently working to inform the person’s next of kin. A report will also be prepared for the coroner."
