A Merton Park cricket club welcomed a few Surrey stars to their ground as its new £70,000 nets were unveiled.
On top of donations from the ECB & Surrey Cricket Foundation, Old Rutlishians was able to raise the remaining money for the four "state-of-the-art" cricket nets.
A spokesman for the club sad it was a particularly proud day as Surrey cricketer Ryan Patel, who started playing his cricket at Old Rutlishians, returned to open the nets after scoring his maiden first class century against Essex.
Alongside him were teammates Mark Stoneman, Scott Borthwick, Aylish Cranstone, which delighted the juniors on hand.
