Police were on the scene quickly and got the man to safety
A man has been detained after threatening to jump from a height in Woolwich.
Officers were called at 3pm today to Woolwich Common after reports of a man that might be in danger.
When the police arrived, they were able to bring him down to safety.
The man has now been detained.
