A teenager has died this afternoon after being hit by a coach.
Police were called by the London Ambulance Service at 1.12pm to reports of a crash in London Road.
Officers, the LAS and London’s Air Ambulance all attended and found that a pedestrian, believed to be in his late teens, had been hit by the coach.
Despite the best efforts of the emergency services, the boy was pronounced dead at the scene at 1.40pm
Roads around the area have been closed as a result.
No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.
