Emergency repairs are underway after a road in Chislehurst was closed both ways due to a gas leak.
Transport for London (TfL) say Prince Imperial Road remains shut, at the junction of Bromley Road, because of the incident.
Traffic is queuing along Bromley Road from Bickley through to Chislehurst, with delays also on Old Hill eastbound.
It remains unclear at this stage when the road will be reopened.
