The winner of this year’s Merton mayor Christmas card design competition has been announced.
There were a lot of worthy entries this year, but in the end it was eight-year-old Emil, of St Hugh class at St John Fisher Primary School who came out on top.
“I am so happy my card was chosen," the year-three student said.
Headteacher Janine Kenna, was delighted by the award.
“This is a great honour for our school where pupils and staff always aim for excellence."
