The soon-to-be vacant Mothercare in Colliers Wood is going out with a bang.
The store in the Priory Retail Park has announced it is launching a closing down sale beginning tomorrow (December 19).
A spokeswoman for the company said: “This is a great opportunity for shoppers to get some amazing bargains on last minute Christmas gifts and maternity, baby and toddler essentials.
"Our most popular ranges will sell out quickly so we encourage all customers to come into the store as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

“We’d like to thank all our customers in the area for their support and look forward to continuing to serve them at our Valley Retail Park, Croydon and Kingston stores and online."
There will be deals across a range of items including toys, gifts, clothing, pushchairs and more.
Since the store announced its closure earlier this year, a planning application has been submitted to Merton Council to turn the site into a 24-hour-a-day gym.
A decision on this application has not yet been made.
