The first group of shoppers will be in for a treat when Aldi opens its new store in Colliers Wood.
Opening tomorrow (December 6) at 8am in the Priory Retail Park, the first 30 shoppers will be gifted with a with a complimentary bag full of fruit and vegetables from the store's 'super 6 range'.
But a free giveaway isn't the only surprise.
On hand top open the store will be British rower and Olympic bronze medallist James Foad.
Store manager, Matt Heusch said: “We are thrilled to be opening a store in Colliers Wood and can’t wait to share Aldi’s everyday amazing products with the community.
"We are also honoured to have Olympic bronze medallist, James Foad, host our launch.”
Following the official opening, Mr Foad, will deliver a talk to the children of All Saints Primary School, where he will address the importance of exercise and healthy eating.
“I’m excited to get the opportunity to talk to the children at All Saints Primary School," he said.
"It’s so important that we motivate the next generation to get them moving and eating well.
"I look forward to showing them the benefits of eating Aldi’s affordable fresh fruit and veg.”
The store will be open Monday to Saturday from 8am to 10pm and from 11an to 5pm on Sundays
