This past week has certainly seen its fair share of trouble caused by the weather.
First it was the train lines coming to a halt as Southern, South Western Railway and Thameslink all suffered from the wind and rain.
But then it was the firefighters in Morden who were forced to spring into action.
No, it wasn't a fire that caused the LFB to head to Morden Hall Park on Wednesday.
Instead it was a gazebo which had been picked up and tossed onto the roof.
Luckily the firefighters saw the funny side of things.
"There’s no place like home," the Merton team wrote on Twitter.
"Gazebos lowered safely to ground. Dorothy and Toto were nowhere to be seen.
"Guess they must be following the Merton twitter."
