There is now a second chance to have your say on the Merton Draft Local Plan.
Consultation on the borough’s Local Plan opened on Wednesday (October 31) and will close on January 6.
The plan will provide a blueprint for development in Merton and if it is approved by government inspectors, is set to be adopted in 2020.
A first round of consultation took place at the end of last year which received more than 1,000 responses and focussed on general questions about what site or policies the plan could cover.
The consultation covers air quality, housing, design and infrastructure.
A statement about the plan on the Merton Council website reads: “Merton has many assets, including superb transport links, beautiful open green spaces, heritage buildings, and a lively business sector.
“We are creating a new Local Plan to provide a sound basis for planning decisions.
“We know how important good planning decisions are for Merton residents, as they impact on the appearance of the local environment and how people use it.”
