Stephen Bishop, 40, has been charged today (November 5) for terrorist offences after his arrest at a home believed to be in Florence Avenue, Morden.
Bishop was remanded in custody and will appear at Westminster Magistrates tomorrow (November 6).
Bishop was charged with preparation of a terrorist act and collection of information of a kind likely to be useful to a person committing or preparing an act of terrorism.
He was arrested after a police raid at around 10.45pm on October 29 on suspicion of the commission, preparation or instigation of acts of terrorism.
A warrant of further detention was granted on October 31.
Officers also arrested a 47-year-old man who has not been named, on suspicion of preparation of terrorist acts, at around 6.20pm on November 1.
The 47 year old has since been released without charge.
