An already approved Colliers Wood development could see even more homes added on.

Two years ago, plans to demolish an industrial site in Wandle Bank and build a part two, three and four storey building with 34 homes was given the green light.

Now those behind the application want to see a "small increase" off 11 more units, despite the size of the space available being the same.

"The proposed amendments to the approved scheme respect its strong design features and quality of materials," the most recent application read.

"The small increase on the number of dwellings is achieved by rationalising construction and layout and making full use of the very large roof voids, which are already in residential and ancillary residential use n the approved scheme, as living space."

On top of the extra homes, 12 more spaces to park a bicycle would be built, taking the total from 76 to 88.

"The proposed development seeks to provide high quality residential accommodation, in line with the London Plan which seeks to ensure that new housing is appropriate, of a high quality and

well designed," the application read.

"The provision of cycle spaces and refuse storage has been increased to ensure compliance with the London Plan.

"We therefore believe that consent to the miner material modifications should be granted."
