A Wimbledon woman could soon be named the best CEO in the country...but not England
Paula Rogers, founder of Admiral Recruitment, has been named a finalist in the Image businesswoman of the year awards, which recognises some of Ireland's best and brightest.
The 50-year-old was born into a family of seventeen to a farming family in rural Dublin.
She was the youngest and had watched her older siblings leave the nest with confidence and determination to be a success.
In 1989, at just 21 years of age, Paula followed her older sisters to London to begin a job within the corporate world.
Then in 1995 she set up her hospitality recruitment business.
The mother-of-two said of receiving the award that it was "a great moment"
"To be honoured as a finalist in the Image businesswoman of the year awards 2018 and join so many fantastic Irish business women in Dublin on the awards night is a dream come through.
"I feel truly humbled to have been recognised.”
The winners will be announced on November 19.
