A new ice cream shop boasting more than 130 flavours could be opening in Wimbledon town centre.
A planning application has been submitted to replace the outside of the now vacant clothes shop into an Oddono's Gelati.
While this wouldn't transformation of the exterior wouldn't necessarily guarantee the shop would be opening, it is a step in that direction.
The company opened its first store in South Kensington 14 years ago and on its website described their product as "fresh, natural Italian gelato."
"We are very passionate about the quality of the ingredients we use," a description on the website read.
"We select the finest natural ingredients from around the world: Vanilla pods from Madagascar, Valrhona chocolate from France, natural pistachios from Sicily, hazelnut from Piedmont.
"To date we have made over 130 flavours, including cinnamon, basil, chocolate and cognac, vodka lemon, honey, chocolate ginger and chili ice cream."
A decision on whether to grant the shop makeover has not yet been made.
