It has been 50 years since Morden Little League gave kids a place to play football.
To celebrate the momentous occasion, more than 1000 people turned up to King Georges Playing Field in Tudor Drive to recreate some long lost memories.
The day was marked by a re-enactment of the 'players parade' from 1968, while a commemorative plaque was presented on behalf of the mayor of Merton.
But it wasn't just the new crop of players that were able to enjoy the day.
Many players from the 1968 teams were also in attendance plus a lot of the old faces from "yester-year" that had been a part of the league in the past 50 years.
