An appeal for witnesses has been launched after a man died in a late night Morden crash.
Police were called at 2.12am on September 25 to reports that a car had crashed into a tree in Bishopsford Road, near the junction of Middleton Road.
The driver of the car, a 33-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene.
His next of kin have been informed.
Formal identification awaits and a post mortem will take place in due course.
Enquiries into the circumstances continue however at this early stage, it is not believed anyone else was in the car or any other vehicles were involved and no arrests have been made.
