A man has died this morning after crashing into a tree in Morden.
Police were called at 2.12am to Bishopsford Road at the junction of Middleton Road where the driver of the car - a man aged in his 30s - was pronounced dead at the scene.
His next of kin have been informed.
Enquiries into the circumstances continue.

The spokesman added that road closures will remain in place during this morning’s rush hour.
Transport for London (TfL) has since warned motorists to “seek alternative routes” as Bishopsford Road is shut both ways between Rose Hill Roundabout and Lilleshall Road at the moment.
