Caterham Valley will be hosting a pop-up local produce market every Saturday for four weeks starting September 29.
Church Walk Shopping Centre will be turned into a hub of artisan food and drink, selected from across Surrey and Sussex.
Shoppers can meet the producers, all members of food and drink network Local Food Britain, and try before they buy.
Andrew Browne, chairman of Caterham Valley for You, the organisation behind the event, said: “The markets will give Caterham Valley shoppers a unique chance to savour produce made right on their doorstep, try new taste sensations and pick up inspirational food ideas.”
Each Saturday will showcase a selection of local products from handmade fudge and Surrey’s own gin to speciality preserves, local cheeses, artisan breads, freshly roasted coffee and craft beer.
The market will have a changing selection of six to eight producers each week.
The markets will be hosted on Saturdays September 29, and October 6, 13, and 20 between 10am and 4pm.
