Police are appealing for information following a car chase through Morden.

At about 6pm on August 13, police were called to Hatfield Mead where a white Nissan Juke (pictured) was seen being driven recklessly.

Officers located the vehicle being driven down Central Road.

Checks revealed that it had been stolen, and they indicated for the Nissan to pull over. The driver failed to stop for police and made off, overtaking other vehicles and speeding through red lights and a one-way street before crashing into a garden wall.

A 15-year-old-boy was arrested near the scene of the crash shortly afterwards.

Enquires are still ongoing, and police are asking that anyone who witnessed this pursuit, or may have dashcam footage which might have covered the incident, to come forward.

If you saw something or think that you could assist with the enquiries, you are asked to call 101 and quote crime reference number 3315811/18.
