Two Wimbledon brothers have cycled their way into the record books.

James and Fergus Gilmour, alongside friend Harry Fildes rode a three person bicycle from Lands End to John o’Groats, all to raise money for charity.

Naturally it was not without its challenges.

The trio faced bad weather, bike repairs and personal strains and sprains during their 888 mile journey.

But in the end they raised more than £5000 for 'Whizz Kids', a charity providing children with disabilities wheel-chairs and other mobility equipment.

This achievement got them a place in the Guinness World Record and their family said in a statement that they were "not only hugely relieved they're back safely, but very proud of them."
