Croydon, Merton, and Sutton residents are being encouraged to apply for a scheme which aims to support recycling projects.
Recycling Fund for Communities, launched last year, looks to support eco-friendly projects which motivate people in being productive with their waste.
People can receive money, resources, or staff volunteers to help bring their ideas to fruition, and the initiative is now open to applications.
Rachel Jay, Veolia’s community supporter manager in London, said: “To make a real difference we need to work with communities, not just for them.
“Through our fund we aim to find Londoners who are passionate about protecting resource and their local environment, and empower them to realise their ideas.
“Since we launched in 2017, we’ve seen 18 amazing projects come to life through our donations.”
The standard pledge is £1,000 but this has now been doubled to £2,000.
To be eligible for funding, projects should “inspire” people to recycle and reuse, “protect and preserve” resource, or “enhance local environments”.
