The results are in
Election results have been declared in the borough Merton this morning after yesterday's voting and a long night at the counts.
Labour has come out on top with a majority win.
Of the 60 seats up for election, 34 went to Labour, 17 to the Conservatives, six to the Lib Dems and three for Merton Park Independent Residents.
In total, 23 new councillors have been elected into office.
