If you fancy a trip down memory lane, then you might want to head to the civic centre later this month.
On May 12, an open air cinema will be erected outside the centre and films showing off the town's history will be shown.
The free event, put on by Merton Council, will also feature photo displays about Merton claims to fame, aspects of Morden history and a special feature to mark 30 years since Wimbledon F.C. won the F.A. Cup.
Council’s director of community and housing, Hannah Doody, said: “Merton has a very rich and diverse history so it is only right that we recognise this at an event such as the Heritage Discovery Day.
"It gives us all the opportunity to celebrate our culture and learn more about conservation methods we have used to preserve such important local history.”
The event will run from 12.30pm to 4.30pm and will take place at Morden Library, which is at the civic centre in London Road.
