Two males were taken to a south London hospital for treatment following an assault on Bond Road in Mitcham last night.
A spokesman for the Met Police said: “Police were called at approximately 01.45am on Thursday, 22 March to reports of an assault in Bond Road, near the junction with London Road, Mitcham
“Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and two males were taken to a south London hospital for treatment.
“Their injuries are not life threatening.”
Enquires into the circumstances continue with their being no arrests.
London Road, Southbound at the junction of Bond Road was closed this morning due to the incident with the road now being reopen.
