A new kind of bar is set to open in Wimbledon boasting ping pong, craft beer, live sport and artisan pizza.
Smash will launch in the spot previously occupied by Po Na Na in Broadway on Saturday (September 30) and is set to offer a totally different experience.
Serving a whopping 60 varieties of craft beer and handmade pizza. Its piece de resistance is four Olympic-sizes table tennis tables.
Smash will open daily from noon to late and play a mix of indie, retro and 'non-commercial' music.
It is the second in the Smash brand, following a successful launch in Reading last year.
Managing director of Eclectic Group, which owns Smash, Lee Nicolson, said: "Our first Smash in Reading is proving a huge success, which has given us the confidence to further develop this radically different take on an immersive product.
"Table tennis is a social sporting activity and we're taking it back to its roots by bringing it into the entertainment arena.
"We've added great food and drink and a cool, exciting environment to the mix."
