The Wimbledon Foundation, the charitable arm of the All England Club has donated £5,000 to a charity tackling teenage mental health in Wandsworth and Merton.
Stem4 is a teenage mental health charity that helps teenagers by stemming commonly occurring issues at an early stage.
It will use the money to hold two student conferences, and one parent conference.
The parent conference will be held at Saint Cecilia’s Church of England School in Sutherland Grove, London SW18 5LR on July 3 from 7.00pm to 9.30pm. It is aimed at parents who have children in secondary school and want to know more about boosting positive mental health and spotting early signs of common mental ill health problems in children.
Dates and locations for the student conferences are to be confirmed.
