A signal failure at Stockwell this afternoon has caused chaos across the Northern line, with commuters claiming they have been trapped underground.
At 1.15pm it was reported that a signal failure was impacting trains between Kennington and Morden, causing severe delays on the rest of the line.
However, an hour later the Northern line Twitter account confirmed no service was running between Camden Town and Morden via Bank.
Update: No service between Camden Town and Morden via Bank. Minor delays rest of the line. Please use alternative routes if possible.

Tickets are being accepted on London Buses via any reasonable route, and on Southern services between Balham and Victoria.
