From Friday: Updated: Woman dead after being hit by the 355 bus in London Road, Mitcham
A number of colourful bouquets have been fixed to a lamppost near where the woman, thought to be middle-aged, was hit by a bus in London Road on Friday morning.
Police were unable to confirm whether a criminal investigation would take place, but said an investigation was being carried out by specialists from the Roads and Transport Policing Command.
Road closures and bus diversions were in place following the accident, above, but all roads re-opened in the area near to Mitcham library, shortly before midday.
