Young actors from across the borough are gearing up to perform on the prestigious New Wimbledon Theatre stage.
More than 100 pupils from eight Merton schools will perform in Truce - a story inspired by the satirical musical play Oh What a Lovely War.
The one-off performance next Wednesday will feature pupils from Cricket Green School, Harris Academy Merton, Harris Academy Morden and Perseid School.
Students from Ricards Lodge High School, Rutlish School, SHINE Merton Saturday School and Uptown UK will also perform in the show.
Directed by the Wimbledon Civic Theatre Trust, each school group has chosen a war story of love, bravery, protest, or conflict - taking the audience on a journey from World War One to the far distant future.
The show will be the first ever production at the theatre to use cutting-edge video design techniques and projected images.
Andy Alty, the New Wimbledon Theatre's Creative Learning Manager, said: "Everyone here at NWT is enormously excited about this year's production.
"If you are interested in experiencing the future of theatre for yourself, then this is the show to see."
